Q: Chevrolet : Camaro RS 1969 Chevrolet Camaro RS?
I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHY A 1969 Chevrolet Camaro RS WOULD GO FOR $99,000,000.00 ON EBAY?
A: Depends on the Camaro. Who rebuilt it, Chip Foose or Barry White, or if it is a special edition IE. Yenko, COPO, Pace Car. Other factors could be that it is a 100% all original car with matching numbers, low miles and only one owner.
Camaros are becoming more and more rare and have been increasing in value by leaps and bounds. You can barley find a rust bucket that won't cost you at least $3k and that is without an engine or tranny. If it is a convertible you are looking at $5k+
Q: 1969 Chevrolet Camaro replace quarter panels ? Macco?
I'm novice when it comes to fixing a car's body. I recently purchased a 1969 camaro that came with both damage left and right quarter panels. I just bought the skins at my local classic industries shop so I can replace them. I know this kind of job will require welding. Anyone know how much should I look foward on paying for just the replacement job? Theres plenty of body shops around where I live (Los Angeles) but half these dudes ask for killing prices.
Anyone know if macco will do a good job? not painting the car just replacing the quarter panels.
Thanks for all your help!
A: In the LA area? Check your phone book for Billy or William Robinson. He is great. He restores classic cars and does it for a living. You can't go wrong.
Q: i am looking for a web site with statistic information on the 1969 dodge charger and 1969 Chevrolet camaro?
Preferable statistics from car and driver or road and track
A: There are a lot of site about the Dodge Charger, especial considering that the 1969 Charger RT is the year made famous by the Dukes of Hazard. However, it was a fantastic car before that show decided to trash most of them. Look up the Charger Registry and go to ALLPAR forums for more links. The word mopar helps when looking for Chrysler, Plymouth, Dodge and Desoto products.
Hope this helps.
Q: 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z28?
I'm doing a project in Physics. I chose to do this car. I must know if one has these features:
Seatbelts. Airbags. Crumple zone. Fuel pump shut off.
And I need to know about these things:
Tires. Steering column. Cage construction.
I don't know a thing about cars and research hasn't helped much, so please, any help?
A: Camaro's had no crumple zone, and no cage, they were unibody cars. No airbags, lap-straps, no shoulders. Manual steering box. Tires rated to 80 miles an hour I think, factory.
Q: 1969 camaro with strange writing.?
My father died he has an old 1969 chevrolet camaro in the garage that has yenko on it .can some please tell me what it means?
A: Yenko Chevrolet, located in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania, was one of largest custom muscle car shops of the late 1960s and early 1970s. Don Yenko, son of the dealership founder, first ordered special Corvairs in 1965. When the Camaro entered the pony car fray in 1966, Yenko transplanted Chevrolet's 427 cubic inch (7 L), 425 horsepower (317 kW) L-72 engine (along with other high-performance parts) and created the Yenko Camaro. The cars were so popular that, in 1968-69, Yenko used Chevrolet's Central Office Production Order (COPO) system to have L-72 engines installed into Camaros, Chevrolet Chevelles, and Chevrolet Novas on the factory assembly lines. The high performance and limited production of all Yenko-customized cars makes them valuable to collectors.
Q: price of a chevy camaro 1969 (ish)?
What should I expect to pay for a 1969 chevrolet camaro? Ideally I'd like to do some body work to it in a restoration sense.. i.e make it look like it did as new in '69
Therefore i'm not looking to buy one that has already been fully restored
A: Sixty-nine Camaro restorations can be a pricey endeavor. Go to 'jegsracing.com' or look for 'jcwhitney.com' for all the parts you'll need. Good luck, and happy building.
Q: chevrolet vs. chevrolet?
which car is~better looking, better in the 1/4 mile, better in top speed, better overall
1969 chevrolet yenko camaro s/c
or
1970 chevrolet chevelle ss454
A: The answer is the 1970 chevelle SS454 this car was unbeaten in the quarter mile during the 1970 drag season for stock racers this car sold rescently at barret/jackson for 1.1 million dollars no yenko is close to that kind of money as to looks the camaro is slightly better looking than the chevelle but the chevelle is more roomier for us old timers. as too top speed that would again belong to the chevelle the chevelle would also handle better as it is a bigger car and can handle the massive wieght of the 454 in it's nose where as the heavy nosed yenko wouldn't want to turn.
Q: I woul'd like to know if this is a legitimate yahoo website and whether or not it's a secure transaction?
From:"Yahoo Finance"
A: Welll, I vote no, it's definitely not a Yahoo site. It's got a Mail.com domain which is a web-based free email provider that is not associated with Yahoo. Anybody and their cousins can open an email account there, and they could be emailing you from anywhere in the world So, this message is not from Yahoo Finance; it's scamming the Yahoo Finance name and it's not even from a Yahoo account.
To me, it looks like you (Sam) are buying a 1969 Camaro from somebody calling themselves Mary Pearce. Mary Pearce supposedly wants you to pay cash with a Money Gram.
Are you buying a car? Where is the car? Did you look at it, test drive it, have a mechanic look at it? Is there even a car? Is it stolen? Did you do a CarFax type of record check on the VIN? Did you meet Mary Pearce? Did you see her driver's license? Did you see the actual pink slip for the car and was her name and address on it? Does it match the driver's license? Why can't you pay by check when you pick up the car? Why do you have to send cash in advance? Why can't you use some sort of escrow account? Personally, I wouldn't pay cash and I'd be very wary. Something seems fishy here.
Q: What is a 1969 X 44 Camaro really worth?
I always wanted an american muscle car. This past weekend I made a trip to upland CA and noticed a nice 69 camaro for sale at this local mechanic shop. Therefore decided to ask the owner how much he wanted to sell it for, he said he wanted 5k for it and it also came with an engine, so I checked it out and seemed to be a new crate chevrolet engine. Everything is unwired so who knows if the engine runs, seems like an unfinished project someone had already started. The body is rust free though i really didn't check the bottom of the car. Everything in the car is there. My question is simple, just want to know how much do these X44 complete usually go for? I want to know if my purchase will be a good one. Actually my dream car was always a ford boss. Should I buy then flip it here in LA and start saving for the boss?
can I flip the camaro for more?
Just picked up the car today. If you guys are interested to check it out e-mail at strenght_ethos89@sbcglobal.net
And thanks for all your help!
A: just because it is an X44 car doesn't mean anything other than it was a "base" Camaro and did not have the SS or RS or Z28 packages, and did not come with the chrome drip rails or the chrome slots on the rear Quarters and the chrome around the headlights. This car could have come with any engine available from the 230 straight 6 to the huge 427 as a central office production order. It is worth 5 grand all day long, even without any motor or transmission in it. there are a thousand people in this world that would take the 5 grand out of the bank and buy it today if they knew its whereabouts! If i had the 5 G's i would buy it site unseen. I already had a 69 X-11 which is the style trim group not RS. You could get the X-11 with any engine from the 230 {Which mine was} to the 396. I have the 1969 Chevrolet dealers sales album that tells you the available options for all model Chevrolet cars for 1969. I even started a yahoo based web site called getcamaroparts.com.
