Q: How many mpg will a 1967 dodge charger get?
it has a 440 engine, 4 speed manual, and 3.23 suregrip axle.
A: 10-12 at the most probably ,maybe 12-14 if your lucky, you wont be passing many gas stations up with that one, power and speed its good for but not gas mileage.good luck.
Q: How much does a 1967 Dodge Charger cost now?
A: right now one to re-store will bring around 3 thousand in really bad condition, one in real good shape that doesn't need very much will bring around 10-15 thousand or more,a hemi car will bring around 45 thousand or more, its all based on what the car has in it,the condition of it and how much it will take to re-store it,the less it takes to re-store it the more it will bring, one with no rust, and in really good condition around 50-65 thousand,to the right person, good luck.
Q: 1967 dodge charger cost?
we have a 1967 dodge charger, all orig., 2 small rust spots, needs new interior, but runs, has a 361 motor...we are thinking about selling it, and i don't want to ask too much or too little...how much do these cars usually sell for?
A: You are sitting on a small gold mine if it is not rusted out. The 361 engine is a slight drawback because it is not a performance engine, but if it is the original engine and transmission, it is referred to as a "matching numbers" car and this alone increases its value. I think a new interior can be had from Legendary Interiors or Year One, but I'm not positive about that.
The spare tire well was a rust area, the electroluminescent dash display was sometimes a problem as was the rotating headlights. To my knowledge very little if any sheet metal is reproduced for this body style so good metal is very important.
Don't be too hasty selling unless you really need the money, do some research first and find out the worth, watch Ebay for a month or two, go to some local car shows or cruise-ins and see how many, if any, are in your area. Talk to some local Mopar owners and get their input.
I know I should have bought the one my friend wanted to sell me in '73 during the first gas crunch, '67 Hemi, four speed with less than sixty thousand miles on it, $1500. Oh well, Good luck.

Q: What's a reasonable selling price for 1967 Dodge Charger?
I inherited my Dad's 1967 Dodge Charger nearly four years ago. My dad spent most of his free time attempting to restore the car, after water damage (rust) due to a fire several years prior. Being a master mechanic, my Dad pieced together the engine himself, but had not completed it, due to his failing health and lack of funds. The outside body has but one or two dents, tires all deflated/old, interior has since acquired been stripped all the way down to the rusted floorboard and undercarriage. I originally hoped to continue my Dad's work and finish restoring it in hopes to eventually pass down to my son. My Dad's brothers and other family members are insisted I sell them the car, but because of the history my Dad had with it and sentimental value to myself and my son, I refused. Like I said my Dad poured evey ounce of energy, time and money until his dying day and this is how my son and myself remember him, besides the story of how he acquired it in his early adulthood pink slip racing is a treat in itself. Anyway, I have asked around of repair pricing and restoration. Many people say the same, including engine, I'm not looking at more than $5000 just to restore it to drivable condition. It has pretty much just sat in my garage for the past four years, outside of my son pulling out all the mutilated seats and flooring, I have not invested any time or money into it. Considering that my son still has yet another two or three years before I can see him responsibile enough to have a gem and family earloom as this Charger, my husband suggested selling this one as is, and getting him something else later, with less work needed. Compared to restoration costs versus value, what do you suggest I do? How much would we get for selling a car in this condition?
A: i wouldn't sell it,you just said it all right there with the sentimental value it has attached to it,even if it took ten years and a lot of money id still keep it and keep your dads dream alive,i value sentimental things, some people don't though,it would probably cost you around 10 -15 thousand or more to get it restored but that wont replace your dads dream,if you do decide to sell it like it is about 5 -7 grand is all it will bring right now,so id think about it before i decided to do anything with it,i made a bad choice on selling a car like that, good luck.
Q: Does anyone know if a 1967 Dodge Charger came with a 440 engine.?
The 5th digit of the VIN is "F" but the engine appears to be original with factory a/c. Thanks,
A: only if it was ordered that way, otherwise it came with a six :)
to see what it came with originally use the vin decoder
Q: where can I buy a 1967-1972 dodge charger, like the one on the Dukes of Hazard?
A: E-bay has quite a few Generals which pop up on a regular
basis. Be prepared to do some work on them !
Q: how much did a brand new dodge charger cost in 1967?
A: According to a 1967 Motor Trend road test the base price was $ 3122.00
But few were sold without options, since this was with the 383 V-8 and no options like power steering. ( 426 Hemi V-8 added $1000.00 so they could cost much more )
As for the above answer, in 1967 you could have bought a VW Beetle for $1500.00 but the Mustang would have been a 1965 ( 6cyl ) with 20,000 miles. lol
Q: Does ne1 know where I can find a 1967 or 68 Dodge Charger R/T 440 on the east coast?
it the general lee model
A: I always thought the original General Lee was a '68, not a '67 or a '69. They used a number of 68's and 69's for the series, but they. They used a 69 in the movie, but the long running series was a '69, now that I look back at some of the episodes.
A good place to start is e-bay motors and the b-body pages on moparts -> http://board.moparts.org/ubbthreads/showflat.php?Cat=0&Board=B&Number=3670795&page=0&fpart=all
There are a couple on moparts ranging from 25K to 115K.
When looking for this kind of car, you'll have to go where the car is, if its not where you are at.
Q: how many white hat specials were made for dodge 67
i have a 1967 dodge charger white hat special and want to know how many were produced
A: Are you talking about a car sold as a "body in white" just the body ,a rolling chassis. I understand Chrysler sold the car that way for racers to build up for racing, drags, circle track, etc.
