Q: I have problems with ignition on a 1966 ford falcon?
289, new plugs,plug wires, coil, cap and rotor, points, selonoid, and still not firing at the plugs
A: Check dwell at coil should be 26 degree at cranking speed and 29 degrees at idle. point gap on high step of dist, cam will be around .016 inch. The + side of the coil should see 12v during crank. The - side should be 0v with points closed. The condenser should not be shorted to grd.Wire from points should check good with ohm meter.
Q: What would be the best type of exhaust that I could install in a ford falcon 1966 six in-line 170cid 2.8?
Would I loose horse power if I converted from a single exhaust to a dual exhaust or would I actually gain horse power?...

You won't gain much power from the 170 without some help with the intake. Getting the port divider for the 3/4 cylinder will help.

has anyone got inside kickpanels for this car as i have searched every where, i am restoring this car and i am finding it very hard , the panela are made of moulded plastic and are just inside between the door jam and the fire wall , please can anyone help me , i need them to be in very good condition .
A: I have a friend in Australia whose Dad restored an XM (similar to an XP) some years back, so I'm guessing you are in Australia too? Anyway I did a search and there is a place in the A.C.T. that has XK-XP kick panels on their list of parts they sell.
