Q: Ok I have a 1970 1/2 Ford Falcon and the transmissions leaks?
Im pretty sure its the governor plate seal but im not a mechanic..anyways do you know the best way to fix this?

A: i will apologize in advance if i am misguessing as to your problem but i am not familiar with the terminology used. could it be possible that you are referring to the torque converter."governor? if so you would need to purchase a "front pump seal" from a local parts store and drop the transmission and replace it. or....take it to a repair shop. good luck to you

Q: I have a 1970 1/2 Ford Falcon. Anyone Know Anything about it?
I just want to know if anyone has some info on it. ive been informed but i dont know if its true.

A: The 1970 1/2 Falcon wasbuilt on the Torino/Fairlane body with Falcon markings. The biggest difference between the two models is that the Falcons were 2 door sedans (post sedan). Ford produced just over 26,000 of this model Falcon, which included the 2-dr, 4-dr, and station wagon variants. Most Falcons came with the standard 6 cylinder engine in keeping with the Falcon image. In addition to the 6 cylinder, Ford also offered all of the Torino's power options like the 429cj package. This was not the same car as the rest of the Falcon line, which ended with the 1970 model. Does that answer your question?

Q: British petroleum and car racing where has the 1970's and channel 9 sponsorship gone with chrysler and others.
The 1970's was a great era for motor sport as the V8's roared down the bathurst mountain foot flat to the floor crowds cheer as the checked flag is waved .BP is great petrol company and need still to provide oils for these V8's from the 1970's and fuels .I am fueling up at BP station thinking about bathurist and the chrysler VJ roaring along with the HQ holden and ford XY falcon as these were the days were has the racing strength gone and crowds of the 1970's.Thanks David.

A: They still exist.. a lot of ppl in my state, NC, are into power vehicles because this is a big Nascar state. I own an old 75 Dodge that has an old V8 in it also. We are still around...
