Q: 1969 Pontiac GTO Judge help!!!
Hi, Im a 16 kid in victoria BC and im wonderingif the 1969 Pontiac GTO Judge is very rare because i would love to purchase one but I have no luck finding one. WHat are my chances
A: There were 108 Convertible 1969 Pontiac GTO Judges made, and 6,725 Hard Top 1969 Pontiac GTO Judges made. Good Luck!
Q: I am looking for a place to have an aluminum dash for my 1969 GTO?
I am looking for a place (online) that makes aluminum/metal dashes, for my 1969 Pontiac GTO. The dash dimensions would probably be the same as a 1969 Chevelle. I would like to modernize the car in that area and give it a different look. Can anyone help me or suggest any businesses?Thank you
A: do you mean the whole dash? or do you want to replace the board around the guages? original parts group and i think ames performance sell aluminum inserts for the 64-67s. you may be able to purchase a sheet of engine turned aluminum and either do it yourself or have a machine shop do it

Q: "VOE" on a 1969 - 1970 Pontiac GTO, what is "VOE"?
From November 1969 - January 1970 these rare Pontiac GTOs got "VOE", what is "VOE"?
A: 233 GTO's had the option, Vacuum Operated Exhaust.
Cost around 60 bucks, if memory serves.
Let you open the exhaust with a knob inside the car.
Q: where can I find a 1969/1974 Dodge Charger or a 1969/1970 Pontiac GTO?

Q: has anyone got a 1969-1974 Pontiac GTO?
how's the car? do you like it?
I've been thinking to buy one
thanks
A: I have a 1972 GTO, and i built it from the gound up, see my webpage.
As long as you dont put a non pontiac engine in your GTO or Pontiac you wont have a problem.
Q: My 1969 Pontiac Lemans also has GTO badges on it, did Pontiac put both on it's cars back then?
A: Both the Lemans and GTO were built on the same platform and were very similar cars. But the GTO would have had no Lemans emblems, and the Lemans would have had no GTO emblems.
Because parts are so interchangeable, I would assume the somewhere along the line somebody either added the GTO emblems specifically, or changed parts to those that happened to have the emblems.
Either way, the 69 Lemans can be quite a nice car. Congrats on owning one!
Q: Advice on 1969 GTO Headers?
Im back with more GTO questions! Lol. I picked the car up on Friday and the new suspension is amazing. Night and day difference. Next up is the exhaust. I bought a 3" Magnaflow exhaust system for the '69 GTO. Now I need to get headers to fit the 3" pipes. Here's my questions:
- What is the collector size for the standard 400 ci Pontiac GTO engine?
- Suggestions on Header brands?
Thanks in advance for all the help!
I wrote collector size but I think I meant primary size.
A: hooker headers are real good and I would get them ceramic coated so they look nice and I believe you need a 17/8" diameter tubes to fit past everything in the engine bay without having a lot of problems, call summit racing and see what they offer.
Q: How much would this hotrod do?
I would like to know how much HP i could get out of this motor? Its a 1969 Pontiac GTO 400 6.6 L now it has around 375 and i am putting this kit of so with this kit how much would it do?
http://paceperformance.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=212757
It says the Carbs are 650cfm but they are 500cfm!
A: i have a 69 gto myself,i dont think it would add much at all. i stay away from edelbrock for pontiac's i would go more of the line of demon. you woul dbe lucky to get 385 after that. Seeing how your motor has 375 it was either a judge or if it wasnt it isnt stock. But i dont know what you got on the motor right now, if stock it should be the quadrajet, which in my opinon is better than edelbrock.
Q: How can I not feel so inadequate?
I feel like I don't measure up. For example, every afternoon I go to pick my daughter up at school (I am a stay at home mom). All the other moms are fashionably dressed, and driving nice looking cars....while I'm in jeans and a t shirt, no make up, and driving a 1969 Pontiac GTO. I just think that all those other women are looking down their nose at me because I don't fit the cookie-cutter "ideal".
A: They should feel inadequate, not you. You're driving a 69 GTO! They're fashionably dressed so they can hide all the stuff that really make them hideous. Honestly, if you feel comfortable enough to just wear jeans and a T-Shirt then you must be beautiful. So screw them, and you can look down your nose at them because you sound like an awesome, confident (besides the question of course) women in my opinion.
